2006-07 - Division I - Iolani Raider Basketball Team
The Iolani Raider Basketball team completed tryouts last week and has their squad set for the 2006-07 season. After a successful summer run where they went undefeated against several of the top ILH teams (minus Punahou) and a few all-star traveling squads, the Raiders will be out to defend their 7th consecutive ILH and 6th consecutive state championships in the upcoming season.
Despite losing several key contributers from last year including Co-Player of the Year Kawika Shoji and starters Barry Kang, Vinny Nip, Jon Takamura, and Wally Marciel, the Raiders are hoping to have continued success with seven returnees, a few new faces up from the JV & Intermediate and a recent transfer from Moanalua.
