ILH Softball Championship: Iolani vs. St. Francis
The Iolani Softball team picked up a much needed 5-2 win today over Sacred Hearts to force a playoff with the St. Francis Troubadours on Friday at 3:45pm @ Kamamalu Field.
The Raiders are tied with the Troubadours at 11-3 and have already beat them twice during league play, but because the ILH does not use head-to-head results as a tie-breaker, the two teams will play off to determine the overall championship. Win or lose, both teams have qualified for the state tournament which starts on January 31 and will be played at the UH Rainbow Wahine Softball Stadium.
