Basketball: Iolani vs. Kamehameha (TV)
Coming off of a nice win at Punahou, the #1-ranked Iolani Boys Basketball team will face another tough challenge when they venture up Alewa Heights to play the Kamehameha Warriors on Friday at 8:00pm.
After starting the season 0-3 with losses to Iolani, Punahou and St. Louis, the Warriors have run off three straight wins including their best performance of the season against a scrappy Maryknoll team last Saturday. Kamehameha is led by senior Rykin Enos and though undersized, the team plays hard-nosed defense from the tip to the final buzzer which usually keeps them in every game until the end.
In their first meeting, the Raiders pulled out a low-scoring double-overtime win at Iolani, so the Warriors will be ready for their second opportunity on their home floor. The game will be televised locally on OC16 and streamed live via the internet at www.OC16.tv.
