NCAA Basketball: WSU faces #7 Oregon
Washington State picked up its 6th win in the Pac-10 and 17th win overall with a 70-55 victory over the Oregon State Beavers at home at Friel Court. Derrick Low ‘04 contributed 8 points, 5 straight coming after the Beavers hit a 3-pointer to cut the lead to four with under 9 minutes remaining.
The Cougs will host the #7 Oregon Ducks on Saturday at 5:00pm HST (Televised on Fox Sports Pacific - Oceanic 246). Oregon will be looking to avoid a Washington sweep after dropping their first road game of the season to the Washington Huskies today 89-77. WSU and Oregon are currently tied for second in the Pac-10 with records of 6-2.
