CMS Featured Athlete: Lana Young ‘03
After contributing as a reserve the last few seasons, Lana Young ‘03 is finally getting her chance to shine as a senior on the CMS (Claremont Mudd Scripps) Women’s Basketball team. Now a regular starter, Lana is putting up career best numbers this season and is currently leading the team in scoring at 10.9 ppg. The Athena have won their last five games, led by Lana who scored in double digits in each contest with highs of 20 (in a blowout against Cal Tech) and 28 (in a 2 point win at Whittier).
