Iolani wins the 2007 Science Bowl!
Chau Huynh, Roydan Ongie, Xiaolong (Leon) Hou, Thanh (Truong) Vu and Leslie Kim may not be the most recognizable students on campus, and may not appear on TV for sports, but I can guarantee there’s many an Iolani student who’d love to be in their shoes come May when the team travels for free to Washington, D.C.
With wins against Hawaii’s best this past weekend, the Iolani Science Bowl team led by Biology teacher Randy Warehime, will head to Washington, D.C. in May to face the top teams from around the country in the National Science Bowl sponsored by the U.S. Department of Energy.
