Sun shines for Stanford Swim Team: Pac-10 Champions!
Hongzhe Sun ‘03 didn’t break the Stanford record, but successfully defended his title in the 200 backstroke for the 3rd consecutive year in leading the Stanford Cardinal to their 26th straight Pac-10 team title. Hong picked up another first place finish as a member of the 400 IM relay team and finished in second and third in the 100 backstroke and 200 IM, respectively (events he won in 2006).
Iolani alumnus Mark Eckert ‘04 finished in second behind Hong in the 200 backstroke as a member of the Cal Bears swim team.
