Quick Update: Wally Marciel ‘06
In his first start against a Big-12 opponent, Wally Marciel ‘06 pitched 5.2 innings giving up 1 run on 8 hits with 2 strikeouts and 1 walk in a 8-1 victory over Texas Tech. The win by the Jayhawks prevented a weekend sweep by the Red Raiders who took the first two games of the series by close margins at their home field in Lubbock.
Wally improves to 4-2 with a 4.09 ERA, 35 strikeouts and 14 walks in 44.0 total innings.
