2007 Eddie Hamada Golf Tournament: Mr. Moses’ Hole-in-One
Longtime history teacher and former girls’ soccer coach Jeff Moses, or Mr. Moses to many, recorded an ace on the 154-yard, par-3 sixth hole at Pearl Country Club on July 26th. The miraculous (I mean skillful) feat was the first of his golf career and the first ever in the 16 year history of the Eddie Hamada Golf Tournament.
For his efforts, Mr. Moses was awarded with a $5,000 cash prize, half of which will be donated back to the Eddie Hamada Scholarship Fund, which the tournament supports.
NOTE: One month earlier, alumnus Glenn Inouye ‘69 recorded a hole-in-one of his own at the Iolani Alumni Association Golf Tournament at Hawaii Prince Golf Course on June 29th.
