Quick Update: Iolani defeats Kaiser 44-0

Justin Yamamoto - IolaniThe Iolani Raider football team got off to a quick start Saturday night against the Kaiser Cougars, going up 34-0 after the first quarter, and never looked back.

Starting quarterback Kela Marciel went 8-8 for 104 yards and two touchdowns in one quarter of work while senior running back Justin Yamamoto (shown) found the endzone twice on just five carries.

Iolani’s next game will be against the Kalaheo Mustangs on Saturday, August 25th at 2:00pm at Kozuki Stadium.

Hightlight of the Night: Senior placekicker Kodi Look, daughter of head coach Wendell Look, entered the game in the first quarter and converted on all three of her extra point opportunities.
