Girls Volleyball: Iolani vs. Kamehameha
The 7-0 Iolani Raider Volleyball team faces their biggest challenge of the season tomorrow night when they take on the nationally ranked Kamehameha Warriors in a showdown of undefeated teams.
Ranked #1 in the state and #5 in the nation by PrepVolleyball.com, the Warriors are coming off of a straight set defeat of #2 Punahou last Tuesday and are led by reigning state player of the year (and UH recruit) Kanani Herring and all-state selection Bekah Torres.
The Raiders are led by senior outside hitters Lauren Minkel (No. 10) and Leinani Keanini (No. 12) along with junior middle Chelsea Hardin (No. 9). (Two-time all-state defensive specialist Kelly Pang is out for the season with a knee injury.)
The game vs Kamehameha will be held at Iolani Gymnasium at 6:30pm. Be there!
