Girls Volleyball: Iolani vs. Kamehameha

Event Date: Tuesday, September 18th, 2007

The 7-0 Iolani Raider Volleyball team faces their biggest challenge of the season tomorrow night when they take on the nationally ranked Kamehameha Warriors in a showdown of undefeated teams.

Ranked #1 in the state and #5 in the nation by PrepVolleyball.com, the Warriors are coming off of a straight set defeat of #2 Punahou last Tuesday and are led by reigning state player of the year (and UH recruit) Kanani Herring and all-state selection Bekah Torres.

2007 Iolani Girls VolleyballThe Raiders are led by senior outside hitters Lauren Minkel (No. 10) and Leinani Keanini (No. 12) along with junior middle Chelsea Hardin (No. 9). (Two-time all-state defensive specialist Kelly Pang is out for the season with a knee injury.)

The game vs Kamehameha will be held at Iolani Gymnasium at 6:30pm. Be there!
