LA Lakers: Open Training Camp at Iolani
According to the Iolani School Website, the Los Angeles Lakers will open training camp on Tuesday, October 2nd at 9:00am in the Lower Gym.
Practices will be held during the morning and afternoon in preparation for their preseason games against the Golden State Warriors on October 9th and 11th at the Stan Sheriff Center.
While this isn’t the first time the Lakers have opened their season in Hawaii, practices on the Iolani campus will be something of a change. In year’s past, the team practiced either at the Stan Sheriff Center or in one of the open gyms on the University of Hawaii campus.
Practices will be held on specific days throughout the week, but are likely to be CLOSED to the public.
