Sporting News Cover: Derrick Low ‘04
Washington State senior guard Derrick Low ‘04 has made it onto the cover of the 2007-08 College Basketball Yearbook by the Sporting News. Formerly printed under the “Street & Smiths” name, this magazine has been among the top college sports publications for years providing in-depth and accurate team previews from the Division I level down to High School.
The yearly publication ranks the Cougars 8th nationally and picks them to finish 2nd in the Pac-10. In talking about the team, they Sporting News writes “…Low, a senior from Honolulu, is really the key to the Cougars’ machine. He has a terrific grasp of tempo, knowing just how long to work the shot clock and when to push the fast break.”
