East Division Player of the Week: Kyle Pape ‘05
Colorado School of Mines’ Kyle Pape ‘05 has been selected as the Rocky Mountain Athletic Conference (RMAC) / Baden East Division Player of the Week, as announced a week ago by the RMAC.
A 6-0, 190-lb. junior guard, Pape averaged 22.3 points per game and shot 52.5 % from the field (31-of-59) as the Orediggers compiled a 3-1 record from December 21st - 29th. Pape, who also shot 87.5 % (21-of-24) from the free throw line and 42.9 % from three-point range (6-of-14) during that four-game span, is currently ranked second in the RMAC in scoring (20.3 points per game). Pape has reached the 20-point plateau in 10 of 13 games this season and has amassed double figures in scoring in all but one contest. Even more, Pape is currently ranked fourth in the RMAC in free throw percentage (83.3 %; 60-of-72).
