2008 JAL Haiku Contest Winner: Kasie Kashimoto ‘12
Iolani School eighth-grader Kasie Kashimoto ‘12 was named the winner of the Japan Airlines 10th World Children’s Haiku Contest for her entry entitled “A Wandering Breeze”. Chosen from more than 2,000 regional entries, her piece will be published in “Haiku by World Children, Volume 10; Impressions of Wind.”
Kashimoto received the grand prize of two round-trip tickets to Tokyo via Japan Airlines.
