The Best Newspaper in the State: Imua Iolani
The Imua Iolani, Iolani School’s student newspaper, was presented with the 2008 Hawaii State High School Journalism Award for Best Newspaper at a ceremony held Wednesday at the Pagoda Hotel.

The awards, now in their 38th year, were sponsored by the Hawaii Publishers Association, The Honolulu Advertiser and Honolulu Star Bulletin. It was the first ever win for Iolani in the history of the awards.
The Imua Iolani also took home the awards for best editorial writing, best illustration and best single issue.
